Born and raised Nu Yorican, I now live in the highlands of NJ with the love of my life. I loving being surrounded by woods, lakes, and hills, but it takes getting used to. some of our neighbors include wild turkeys and bears. Big change from pigeons and squirrels.
Pagan since March 1997, I've studied Wicca and witchcraft the last ten years, following a solitary eclectic path.
Vegetarian since winter 2003, I became a vegan in Fall 2004. I recently returned to veganism after six months of lacto-ovo vegetarianism.
I celebrated Lughnasahd with my brother Jet. During our ritual, we talked about the cycle of the year, and how it affects us. We talked, ate a bunch of starchy things, and drank Sam Adams Honey Porter and Mike's Hard Berry. We ended the evening with cherry pie and ripe grapes.

After a lot of soul searching and careful thought, I've decided that I'll be changing my given name legally to Raea. There's an explantion why over at my Pagan Space blog.
Jet, myself, and my beloved are headed to Salem in a couple of weeks for a few days. We're celebrating Jet's 21st birthday.
I've been working on a travel BOS. It's been a trip putting it together.
That's about all I can think of. I hope you're doing well. And don't forget to drop a line if you feel like chatting.
I feel as though things are beginning to settle down a bit again, and since this is the case I should take the opportunity to get things done. There are a few worries looming about, but I'll tend to them if they come up.
Right now, I'm focusing on what's got to be done. My goals for the summer are to get back into my workout routine, get started on my art projects, and get focused on spiritual matters. My brother has been immersing himself in study, both acedemically and spiritually. This has inspired me to do the same.
I don't plan on returning to school any time soon, but I will do what I can to perfect my technique in drawing, painting, and most importantly pyrography (woodburning). Also, I will go back to studying my craft because as a witch it's my duty to learn and gain new knowledge and wisdom, as well as sharpen my talents.

It's been a long while. I've been in and out, but hopefully I'll update very soon.

Between Samhain and Yule, life has taken so many different turns. I look forward to writing about them soon. But for now I want to wish everyone a Blessed Yule full of love, peace, hope, and warmth.
The last two months have found me ill. I'll get through it so I'm not concerned. Today, I will begin removing one of the key toxic elements from my life -- I'm handing in my resignation today. This will give me two weeks to tie up loose ends.
I'm sad and excited at the same time. It will be nice to work at a place with less politics. It will be a relief to focus on my health and my artwork again. The only downside is I will miss my friends and the crappy-but-still-helpful medical I receive.
I'm afraid of the drama this will stir, so I have to go in shielded, with nothing but the best intentions in mind (and heart). So today begins the first steps down another path, in a new direction.
